Ice fishing is a super easy, fun activity for the winter months. Simply drill a hole, bait your line, let it sink, and crack open a cold one while you wait – it can take awhile for the fish to make an appearance. Pineview Reservoir during the winter months primarily offers Perch and Crappie, but there’s always the off chance of catching a Tiger Musky! We recommend using a depth of 15-35 feet for the most fish traffic. Causey Reservoir is also a great place to check out as there are tons of trout waiting for food. As with all ice fishing, it can take a long time for them to take the bait – just be patient. Early morning and late evening are the best times for getting out on the water!
