All natural snow (none of that man-made stuff) across a vast and largely undiscovered terrain make this the ski adventure go-to. Powder Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States and the second largest ski resort in North America. The two recently added lifts brings the total skiable acres to 8,464 over 167 runs.

Nordic Valley is a small family and budget friendly ski resort in Eden, Utah. It is easily the most accessible out of Ogden Valley’s three ski resorts and offers 500 acres on the boutique ski hill. There are three lifts and night skiing, making it a popular evening activity. The resort is also well known for their respected ski school which is responsible for teaching thousands of kids to ski and snowboard. Adults, children, and families alike will enjoy Nordic’s down-home vibe, fun terrain, and welcoming atmosphere. The resort features an expansive terrain park and a fat bike race series.

Carver’s Cove Petting Zoo is fun for the whole family. They allow visitors to feed and pet farm animal favorites such as horses, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, pigs, llamas, kittens and dogs. Children ages 12 and younger can even ride a horse. There are lots of photo opportunities with animals, a tractor, an antique buggy and a haystack.
