About Powder Mountain
Powder Mountain, affectionately known by locals as “Pow Mow”, was recently rated as the #1 value in North America by Ski Magazine readers. All natural snow (none of that man-made stuff) across a vast and largely undiscovered terrain make this the ski adventure go-to. Powder Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States and the second largest ski resort in North America. The two recently added lifts brings the total skiable acres to 8,464 over 167 runs.
The resort also offers amazing amenities that would cost a small fortune at other ski areas. For just $20 a snow cat skiing service provides access to the top of Lightning Ridge with over 700 challenging acres of pristine skiing and a 2,100’ vertical drop. Reservations are required for this particular service.
Woody’s World is another fantastic amenity, offering about 1,200 acres of untouched powder. This section has all of the thrill of backcountry skiing without the hiking or navigating. It all leads to one place where a team of buses haul you back to base. The resort also offers 2 terrain parks, a snow sports school, and night skiing.
Summer at Powder Mountain means tons of mountain biking including the El Doce at Pow Mow mountain bike race as well as the Music in the Mountains concert. Visit our real estate portal for information on new developments with the Summit Group and existing Powder Mountain real estate.
