Relax and take in the views of this beautiful mountain paradise by road biking throughout the Valley. Rolling green hills, epic peaks, blooming wildflowers, and awe-inspiring wildlife make this one of the best places to explore on a bike. The Ogden Canyon is definitely too narrow for cyclists, so we recommend avoiding it and finding something safer for everyone.
Pineview Reservoir is a great place for beginners to bike around. The trail is an out-and-back 6.2 mile trail that follows the shores of the reservoir and provides epic views of the water. Native diversity is abundant here so stopping to check for wildlife is a good idea. It’s easy enough for all skill levels of road biking to enjoy as well.
Many road bikers journey to Snowbasin via Trapper’s Loop. Steep elevation changes make this a challenge for even the most fit riders. After arriving at Snowbasin you can explore Old Snowbasin Road which typically isn’t heavily trafficked. Part of the road is blocked from public access so plan on either a long bike ride or to have a ride.
