The 3rd Annual North Ogden Turkey Trot is held on Thanksgiving Day and is one of those beloved holiday events that bring the community together. Runners can participate in a 5K individual race or team up for a 5K relay, with each runner completing a 1.5-mile lap.

The Ogden Santa Run is a festive annual 5K held in Historic Downtown Ogden. Starting at 4:30 PM on November 30th, the race takes place just before the Ogden Holiday Light Parade. Participants are provided with Santa suits to run in, and Milk and Cookie Aid Stations, staffed by cheerful elves, keep runners fueled along the way. The entire course is filled with lively holiday music, making it a spirited start to the season.
This family-friendly event unites the community to kick off the holiday season in style. Starting at 5:30 PM, following the Santa 5K Run where participants dressed as Santa Claus race along the parade route, the celebration will dazzle with illuminated floats, marching bands, and lively performers.
This beloved annual event turns downtown Ogden into a magical winter wonderland. With sparkling holiday lights and charming decorated cottages, the festivities officially begin following the Santa Run and Holiday Light Parade. Starting November 30 and running through December 23, children can visit Santa Claus Monday through Friday from 6–9 PM and Saturdays from 5–9 PM.
