Bonobo is a British musician, producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. He initially debuted with a trip-hop aesthetic, and has since explored more upbeat approaches, as well as experimenting with jazz and world music. He stated in an interview that “Life has highs, lows, loud and quiet moments, beautiful ones and ugly ones. Music is a reflection of life.” Bonobo’s work has given him a cult following, and has been featured in advertisements, interludes and soundtracks. The name “Bonobo” is a reference to the Bonobo chimpanzee species. He has released six albums since his career began in 2000 and continues to produce new music. Bonobo has collaborated on songs with numerous other artists and this performance will include a full live band.
Slow Magic is a masked band, meaning they wear masks at all times! Their music style is serene and otherworldly. They began in 2012 and released their first album “Triangle” the next year. He toured with artists such as Gold Panda and Xxyyxx in support of that album. His second album was released in 2014 and is entitled “How to Run Away.”
