“Know Before You Go” Avalanche Awareness

Join the Snowbasin Ski Patrol and the Utah Avalanche Center for a free “Know Before You Go” Avalanche Awareness presentation at Gear 30 in Ogden on Wednesday, December 27th at 7:00pm.
Eventually, it will snow. And when it does, it’s best to be avalanche knowledgeable. There’s not much science, no warnings to stay out of the mountains, no formulas to memorize just some solid knowledge from the experts in avalanche safety. During this one hour presentation, you will see the destructive power of avalanches, understand when and why they happen, and how you can have fun in the mountains and avoid them.
