First, the Bad News
In Light of COVID-19 we will not be offering discounted Snowbasin lift tickets for the 20/21 season.
We have some updates about the 2020 ski season. In the wake of COVID-19, Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain may change some of their policies to help observe social distancing and keep exposure paths to a minimum. Here’s how this will affect your vacation:
Snowbasin Resort
In an effort to preserve social distancing, Snowbasin Resort might cap its numbers on days when heavy crowds are expected, i.e. weekends, holidays, powder days, etc. As a result, day-pass holders might not be allowed on the slopes during times of heavy operation. That’s why we’re urging anyone who plans on skiing more than 4 days at Snowbasin this winter to purchase either a season pass or a multi-resort epic pass.
Snowbasin has a revised Pass Protection Program that you can learn more about here. If for some reason you’re unable to take advantage of your ski pass, you may be eligible for a refund.
Powder Mountain
Powder Mountain will continue to cap its ticket sales at 1500 per day. To save your spot in advance, you can purchase a season pass or buy day tickets in a 5-pack to select the dates you’d like to ski. This ensures you won’t be turned away.
Powder Mountain also has updated safety information you can read here.
